The Common Admission Test (CAT) is an all-India test conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) as an entrance exam for admission to the Post-graduate and Fellow Programs in management courses of several management institutes all over India including the IIMs.
The CAT score is used separately by each institute along with other parameters i.e. academic performance, work experience, group discussion, written assessment and interview performance etc. to select candidates. The weightage assigned to CAT score may differ for each institute. Candidates are advised to read the weightage, process and breakup for each institute on its respective website.



The candidate must be a graduate with 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of SC/ST/DA/PWD) or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the ministry of HRD, Government of India.
Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree / equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply. (Candidate if selected needs to submit a certificate latest by 30th June 2015 from the Principal/Registrar of College/Institute stating that the candidate has completed all the requirements for obtaining the bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification on the date of the issue of the certificate.)

Significant changes in CAT 2014:
Exam duration has been increased to 170 minutes from the existing limit of 140 minutes.
Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation will consist of 50 questions and Logical Reasoning and Verbal Ability will have 50 questions each.
The tutorial which was made available before start of examination will not be available this time.
Candidates have the flexibility to devote more or less time to each section according to their ability.
One can switch over from one section to another section at any point during the examination timing.

Register online at the CAT website with a registration fee of Rs. 1600 (General/NC-OBC) and Rs. 800 (SC/ST/PWD-DA).

You must show original mark sheets and submit photocopies to prove your eligibility at the time of interview. MAT:


The Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a National Entrance Test conducted by All India Management Aptitude Testing Service (AIMATS), for admission to MBA and equivalent programmes of the various participating institutes.
AIMA-MAT is usually conducted 4 times a year: generally on the first Sunday of February, May, September and December. The list of institutes that use the AIMA-MAT results varies from test to test.



The candidate must be a graduate in any discipline.
Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree and are awaiting results can also apply.

How to Apply
Step 1: XAT Registration: Visit xatonline.net.in, click 'XAT Registration' and fill the form.
Step 2: XAT ID and Password: Post-registration, you immediately get your unique auto-generated XAT ID and password on the registered email-ID. Verify those credentials by logging in again.
Step 3: Complete Form: Log in using your ID and password, and change the password. Once this is done, update your education details.

Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national level admission test for admission in all management programs approved by AICTE.
Generally, the exam is held twice a year in the months of Feb and Sept. The better of two scores will be used for admission for 2014-15.
AICTE has now decided to conduct CMAT in Foreign Countries for facilitating eligible NRIs/PIOs and foreign nationals to appear in CMAT for seeking admission in institutions in India following CMAT merit list for 2014-15 under special provisions defined in AICTE Approval Processand against all vacancies left after completion of centralized admission in management institutions.

How to Apply
Step I: Enter as New User
Step II: Self registration- Enter details to get an 6 digit password. Re-login to the registration portal as an EXISTING USER with your e-mail id and this unique 6 digit password to complete self-registration.
Step III: Payment Process – Either online or cash
ONLINE: Select ONLINE PAYMENT mode and then pay using Credit card / Debit card / Net Banking. On the completion of the payment, a confirmation email and SMS is sent to you.
CASH: Select PAY BY CASH, print the already filled-in challan and deposit the cash in any designated bank branches of State Bank of India. Within 48 hours, a confirmation e-mail and SMS is sent to you stating that the payment data has been updated in the registration portal. After this, proceed with the remaining part of registration process, and enter details filled by the bank authorities on the challan.
Step IV: Fill the remaining part of the form

SNAP:

Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) is a common written test for the admission to all the Post-Graduate Institutes of Symbiosis International (Deemed) University.
While there is only one application for the SNAP written test, you need to apply separately to each institute within Symbiosis International University, as per the details given on the respective website of each institute.



Graduates in any discipline from any Statutory University with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) for all the MBA Programmes, except the ones which require graduates with specific subject specializations (mentioned on the respective institute websites).

NMAT:

NMAT is the entrance exam for admission to all the MBA Full Time courses of NMIMS Mumbai and the PGDM courses of NMIMS Hyderabad and Bengaluru.
A candidate can take NMAT up to a maximum of 3 times (first attempt plus 2 retake attempts) including no shows, if he / she wishes to. There has to be a gap of at least 15 days between two successive attempts.
For candidates having multiple attempts, the best score (total and sectional) is considered for shortlisting purposes.
The result for each attempt is declared separately, approximately 15 days after the test attempt.



The candidate must be a graduate with 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in first attempt.
Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply subject to clearing the final examination in first attempt with 50% aggregate marks.
For all the Full Time programs, candidates with two or more years of post-qualification work experience will be preferred.

Click on the New User Registration button, accept the terms and conditions and then fill in the required details in the online application form.
On the next screen, choose password, answer hint questions and click on the Submitbutton to register. The next screen will display your unique NMAT ID.

MH-CET:


Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MH-CET) or MH-MBA/MMS-CET is a computer-based test for admission to the first year of Two-year Full Time Post Graduate Degree Courses in MBA/MMS and PGDBM/PGDM in Government, University Managed, University Departments and Unaided Institutes in the state of Maharashtra.


  • A candidate should have passed with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of candidates of backward class categories belonging to Maharashtra State only) in Bachelor's degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline as recognised by the Association of Indian Universities.

    Candidates appearing for the final year of the qualifying examination can also apply.

  • Maharashtra State and OMS candidates who have appeared for the CAT / GMAT / CMAT 2014 / MAT (Feb 2014)/ XAT / ATMA / MH-CET 2014 are eligible for All India seats subject to fulfillment of eligibility criteria. Such candidates are also required to fill and confirm online application form.

MH-CET is a multiple choice objective type test that consists of questions in the following areas:

IBSAT:

IBSAT is a computer based test, conducted at 100 Test Centers across India. This test scores the applicant’s ability in quantitative techniques, data interpretation, data adequacy, vocabulary, analytical reasoning and reading comprehension. This test gives the applicants a single window opportunity to apply to 9 IBS campuses.
IBS campuses are located at Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Dehradun, Gurgaon, Jaipur, Kolkata, Mumbai and Pune.



Graduation (any discipline) with 50% and above marks.
All applicants should have completed a minimum of 15 years of regular education (on 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 basis). Applicants who have completed their graduation on a one-time sitting basis or on a 2-year basis are not eligible.
Applicants in their final year bachelor's degree course are also eligible to apply, provided they complete their graduation requirements including practical examinations / viva / assignments before May 31, 2014.
